At the AGM held on 20 May 2024 Councillor Mike Prew was re-appointed as Town Mayor. Mike expressed his thanks to fellow councillors and said he is pleased to continue in the role of Town Mayor representing and promoting Caerphilly town. The Caerphilly Food and Drink Festival will take place on Saturday 27 April 2024. There will be street food, food and craft stalls, street entertainment, food demonstrations and celebrity chef. The event is organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council. The Town Council provides event sponsorship of £500.
