The following financial support was approved at the Town Council on 15 April 2024:
A grant of £400 to Caerphilly Eco Hub to support the creation of a website to promote the activities of the organisation. The group is spearheading the development of a circular route around Caerphilly Castle.
A grant of £400 to Climate Action Caerffili to support the creation of a website to promote The Tiny Forest and enable online bookings. The Tiny Forest is located in Morgan Jones Park and was initiated in 2021. Several hundred local school children, parents and community groups have helped to plan the trees.
Event sponsorship of £1300 towards Ffiliffest organised by Menter Iaith Sir Caerffili. The event takes place on 8 June 2024 at the Owain Glyndwr Playing Fields and celebrates the Welsh language, local heritage and culture.
