Tender for the installation, removal, and storage of Christmas Lights

The Christmas Lights are installed in early November ready for a switch on event on the third weekend in November which this year will be the evening of Friday 17 November 2023. They are taken down and removed to storage the second week in January.

The Town Council has now awarded the contract to Elsbury Access Platforms (minute 51.1 TC 18.9.23)

Tender for the supply of summer floral displays (2024)

The floral displays consist of hanging baskets and rail planters installed around the town centre during late May and removed in September and the plant containers returned to the supplier for replanting for the following year. They are a key element in the successful Wales in Bloom awards.
