At the Town Council meeting on 15th February 2021 it was agreed to make a donation of £1000 to the Friends of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board who have launched a fundraising campaign to raise £200,000 for additional facilities the NHS is unable to provide at the new Unified Breast Unit which is due to open at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr in late 2021.
