Town Council goes hybrid

The Town Council launches its first hybrid meeting on 21st February 2022. Following Welsh Government legislation it is now a requirement to arrange meetings that can be attended from multiple locations. The Town Council has invested in new video conference equipment which enables attendees to be physically present at the Twyn Community Centre or join the meeting from another location via the internet. The Mayor commented: “The pandemic has meant we have all had to learn to do things differently. Two years ago who had heard of Zoom. The hybrid meeting will offer more convenience for councillors and members of the public.”
