At the Town Council meeting held on 17 October 2022 the following grant awards were approved:
A grant of £250 was approved for the Caerffili and District Twinning Association towards the cost of hosting visitors from Lannion.
A grant of £100 was approved for the Save the Children Caerphilly Branch to cover the venue and refreshment costs of a Christmas fund raising evening.
A grant of £400 was approved for Eisteddfod y Cymoedd to assist with the running costs of the Valleys Eistedfodd that will be held in October at the Gwyndy Campus of Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni.
