There is wide support from the churches and other organisations for the popular Flower Festival to return in June 2022 following an absence of two years due to the pandemic. The event is sponsored by the Town Council and each participating organisation will be provided with a grant of £400 to help fund the displays. The event will take place on the weekend of 17/ 18 / 19 June 2022 and displays will be held in the churches clustered around the town centre and at the Twyn. The Flower Festival compliments the floral decorations that enhance the town during the summer months. Further details will be published nearer the time of the event.
