Easter Concert “Requiem Faure” at St Martins Church on 5th April postponed
Caerphilly Food Festival on 2nd May 2020 postponed until further notice
Caerphilly Big Cheese Festival on 24th – 26th July cancelled for 2020 (will not be rearranged this year)
Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10k originally scheduled for 17th May 2020 was postponed to 13th September 2020. Given the uncertainties arising from the coronavirus epidemic and the ongoing need for social distancing the event will not take place in 2020 and has been rescheduled to 10th May 2021. All entries will be transferred automatically to the new date.

Summer Sports Scheme 2020 at Caerphilly Leisure Centre will not be operating this year
In view of the current Coronavirus Regulations (July 2020) that make large scale gatherings in Wales unlawful and due to the advance planning required the Town Council has decided to cancel all its remaining events for 2020, namely the Fireworks Display at Caerphilly Castle, the Christmas Lights switch on, and the Christmas Lantern Parade.
